Career Resources Institute:

I was featured in a Career Resources article called "Top Ten Resume Experts Share Best Practices" about how project managers can learn to showcase their expertise in a resume. My first tip is: "As a resume writer, the number one piece of advice that I emphasize is that the resume should reflect what YOU’VE contributed to the job rather than the job description. Too many novice resume writers copy and paste the description of the job they are currently working—which is a HUGE mistake since they miss the opportunity to customize their resume in terms of showcasing their skills" I am excited to share these tips because resume writing can be challenging, but incredibly rewarding once you have a document that speaks directly to your specific contributions. Psychology Today:

I was featured in a Psychology Today article called "7 Ways to Truly Say You're Sorry" by Jen Kim about how to deliver a proper apology. If you can communicate that you understand why you've hurt the other person, issue the apology, offer a promise of forbearance, and then find a meaningful means of amends, apologies are actually fairly easy! (Even if your pride says they are not!). Click on the picture for the whole article!
